Turkey with parents, questions about pace before you book

A family trip to Turkey with parents needs a few extra questions asked up front. This list is built from what the Pakistan Travel Diaries Turkey tours include.

Transport and guide

A local Turkish guide and transport inside Turkey are part of the package, so nobody in the family has to arrange transfers. Ask the company how long each road transfer is and where the stops fall in the day.

The domestic flight

The package includes one flight inside Turkey, from Istanbul to Antalya. Ask which day it falls on and how much hand luggage is allowed.

Hotels and rooms

Hotels are 3 star and three people share a room. Ask how the company arranges rooms when parents travel with a couple or with children.

Meals

Breakfast and dinner are included, so lunch is the meal to plan for.

Which length

The 7 day tour covers Istanbul, a day in Bursa and Antalya. The 10 day tour adds Cappadocia, Pamukkale and Konya, which means more days on the road. A shorter plan can suit parents better, and your own family will know that best.
